The Way Ignatian Book Service Terms and Conditions If you need an order to be processed urgently, or otherwise differently from our standard procedure, please contact us by e-mail or phone ((+44/0)1865 286117); we can usually help. Processing of Orders Most UK orders are processed within three working days of receipt. Overseas orders are usually processed within five working days. You will receive an e-mail when your order has been processed. Shipping and Delivery Within the UK parcels are sent by Royal Mail—Second Class for items up to 1 kg and Standard Parcel for items between 1 and 2 kg. For anything over 2 kg we now use a courier service whose delivery times are comparable with those of Royal Mail. Royal Mail aim to deliver Second Class post within three days, and Standard Parcels within 3 to 5 days.Overseas parcels are sent using our courier service, Spatial Post. For EU countries these are delivered within 3 to 5 days (priority) or 7 to 12 days (economy). For non-EU countries the times are 5 to 7 days (priority) and 10 to 21 days (economy). Note, however, that overseas parcels are collected only once a week so may not leave the office immediately. Recently parcels to the USA have occasionally been taking 2 to 3 weeks. This is because of US security checks and is unfortunately beyond our control. We have also had to increase the price of shipping to Hong Kong because we have found that parcels only ever arrive if sent by Royal Mail airmail, which is expensive. Special Order Books These are ordered individually from the Institute of Jesuit Sources in St Louis, USA, and take at least a month to process, plus the usual shipping time. We do not expect invoices including Special Order books to be paid until all books have arrived.Refund Policy You will receive a refund if you cancel your order by post, telephone or e-mail within seven days of placing it, or within seven days of receiving it (whichever is the longer). If you have received the order the items will need to be returned in good condition for a refund to be given. Please in any case contact us: we will not normally refuse reasonable requests!Disclaimer We cannot guarantee these processing or delivery times: they are a guide only. However if an item takes significantly longer than the normal time to arrive and as a result is no longer useful to the customer we will be happy to accept it back in exchange for a refund (this does not usually apply to Special Order books).
